China Trip - Part 2

Welcome to Shanghai! The average temperature for today is approximately 12 degrees...
In the morning, we visited the Shanghai Cultural Museum...

...where we saw cool pots...(no! I deleted one!!!alskdjfalsdjfas)

...and statues...

...and coins. Apparently, the design signifies Heaven and Earth: the circular shape is Heaven, and the square is Earth. However, my brother just thinks the holes are for hanging the coins from a string like a necklace. Who knows?

Julia ended up buying herself this really expensive bracelet! She was broke for the rest of the day.

Next, we visited an old section of town that had been heavily influenced by European styles.

No idea what this statue represents....

Nice fountain...

WE GOT STARBUCKS COFFEE!

Afterwards, we visited a large market area to do some shopping. This is a picture of a teahouse we saw.
Then, we visited a more modern shopping area....
This was the boy's toilet sign at the restaurant....strange minded people...wait, did I just delete ANOTHER picture! *steam starts coming out of ears*
After dinner, we went on an evening cruise of the Bund River Area. I have no idea what this building is, but it looks nice.
